He has been dancing since high school: rock'n'roll, foxtrot, English waltz, blues, jive, rumba and samba, and twenty years ago, at a seminar in Ljubljana led by the then world tango champion Alexandro Akino, he was introduced to Argentine tango.
Professionally, he works with directing and pantomime in theatres, psychological counselling, artistic photography and scientific psychology, and is the head of the International Institute of Inspiration in Ljubljana. He has a PhD on Coaching and the role of intuition in shaping successful managerial decisions.As a professional writer, he has been a columnist for fashion magazines and newspapers. He has written and published three fiction books in Slovenian and Serbian: »Ko bi ...«, »Tantra, notranja eksplozija« and »Metulj v krvi« (»Metulj, nesmrtna igra«).
For Siniša, tango is a delicate, subtle communication, a living creativity as an art of collaboration and passion. In joining with another person, we learn, we liberate, we overcome ourselves and joy is here!
Some information on his education so far.
He has studied with various masters of Argentine Tango. In Maribor with Ismail Ludman and Maria Mondino, in Belgrade with Darko Dožić, in Munich with Gonzalo Angeles and Natalia Pena Munoz. There he also attended private lessons with Argentine masters Roberto Diaz and Karina Prato. In London, he attended the milonga lessons of the legendary Angel Miguel Zotto, and the lessons of Argentine teachers Christian Marquez and Virginia Gomez on the secrets of the tango waltz. In Ljubljana, he attended several seminars with Mariano “Chicho” Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda.
He also attended masterclass workshops in Vienna with Sebastian Arce and in Rome with Marian Galeano & Silvia Mezzasoma and in Rogaška Slatina with Maria Casan & Pablo Avila.
